Who do I contact with a question on rule interpretation(s)?

Jim Herbert is our resident interpreter.  Jim can be reached via e-mail at jherbertref@bell.net.  Word has it, Jim can interpret in fourteen different languages!

Where can I find an official for a game at my school/for my organization/otherwise?

Jim Herbert is our Assigning specialist!  He can help you with questions on availability and costs, and can assign referees with appropriate experience to your basketball event. You may reach Jim at jherbertref@bell.net, or by telephone at 631-0511 .  Referee inquiries only please!

How do I become involved with the Elgin Basketball Referees' Association?

Great!  So, you would like to become part of our organization!  We certainly welcome newcomers, regardless of age, experience, gender, or hair colour!  Getting involved with the EBRA is a relaxed process, free of undue pressure.  We'll assess your skills, answer questions, and point you in the right direction.  Before you know it, you'll be officiating with Derek Stewart , our president!  To hear more about the EBRA's structure, and for information on getting involved, please contact Derek Stewart at derekedstewart@gmail.com.  Derek will be glad to hear from you!
